CCNP TRAINING

OVERVIEW:

CCNP R&S certification is a professional level certification for candidates wanting to become certified Routing and Switching technologies competent. After completion of CCNP Training, candidate will be able to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise Cisco networks.The CCNP R&S Certification training package consists of training on three varied modules that is ROUTE, SWITCH, and TSHOOT explained below:

  • ROUTE: This training module consists of in depth study and practical training about IP Routing. Getting familiar with concepts like planning, building and testing safe LAN and WAN solutions using varied types and number of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPV6 etc.
  • SWITCH: This training module includes deep theoretical and practical knowledge on planning, building and executing enterprise switching solutions with the help of switching technologies like VLAN, STP, VTP, RSTP, MSTP, EtherChannel, GLBP, HSRP, VRRP etc.
  • TSHOOT: In this module candidate learns how to troubleshoot and maintain IP networks including use of technological yet applicable approaches to troubleshoot various networks.


CCNP Training on real Cisco devices:

We offer CCNP R&S certification training on real Cisco devices only. We do not use simulator softwares in our labs or classrooms. We use 2611, 2801, 1841, 2811, 3640, 7204 series routers and 3550, 3560, 3750 series switches in our labs for CCNP course training to our students.

Cisco Certified Network Professional - R&S

Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE) : 300-101

  • Introduction to CEF, ICMP TCP and UDP operations (MSS, MTU, Windowing, Starvation and Latency).
  • Understanding, configuring and troubleshooting PPP, PPPOE, MPPP, Frame Relay and Layer2 Authentication.
  • Introduction TO VRF Lite, Route-Maps and Policy-Based Routing.
  • Explain EIGRP working, filtering ,summarization, default route origination and redistribution. EIGRP SIA, EIGRP Authentication, Equal and Unequal Load Balancing.
  • Understanding OSPF - OSPF packet types, area types and OSPF LSA like router network and summary LSA. OSPF filtering and summarization, concept of ABR and ASBR.
  • Introduction to Path Vector Protocol i.e. BGP. BGP neighbor relationship EBGP and IBGP, and BGP path attributes. BGP patch selection.
  • Explain the working of VPN technologies like GRE, DMVPN and EVN.
  • Understanding layer 3 security features like ACL (standard, named and timebased), ACS (Radius, Tacacs+) and IPV6 filtering.
  • Understanding, configuring and troubleshooting infrastructure services like NTP, DHCP, NAT (NAT PT, NAT64, NPTV6), IP SLA and Netflow v5, v9.

Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks (SWITCH) : 300-115

  • Introduction to SDM (switch device manager), CAM and TCAM.
  • Understanding, configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, VTPV1, VTPV2 AND VTPV3. Configuring Swtichport Access, Trunk, and Dynamic.
  • Understanding, configuring and troubleshooting STP, PVST +, MST AND RVPST. Describing STP features like priority, guards like bpduguard, rootguard, and bpdufilter.
  • Introduction to stacking, layer two and three Etherchannels with configuration and troubleshooting examples.
  • Understanding, configuring, troubleshooting switching security with DHCP snooping (IP SOURCE GUARD, DYNAMIC ARP INSPECTION), Private VLAN, and Storm control.
  • Understanding, configuring, and troubleshooting HSRP, GLBP VRP.

Troubleshooting and maintaining Cisco IP Networks (TSHOOT) : 300-135

  • Case study on layer2 and layer 3 technologies for better understanding of some unique scenarios.
  • Troubleshooting IOS up-gradation password recovery.
  • Developing multiprotocol scenarios and understanding protocol specific issues like Floating Static Routes and Discard route availability.
  • Troubleshooting layer2 and layer 3 mixed scenarios in a strategic manner.
  • Understand rapid PST and MST convergence and troubleshooting it.
  • Troubleshooting routing protocol (EIGRP, OSPF, and RIP) redistribution, filtering, configuration and summarization with their respective features like EIGRP Stub, OSPF NSSA etc.
  • Troubleshooting routing protocol convergence with EGP i.e. BGP
  • Troubleshooting IP services like NTP, DHCNP, NAT, and ACL.
  • Troubleshooting router and switch security.
  • Troubleshooting VPN i.e. GRE.
